Schleswig is located high in the north of Schleswig Holstein, approx. 130 km north of Hamburg and approx. 40 km south of the German / Danish border very close to the motorway A7. The nearest train station on the Hamburg-Flensburg-Denmark route is around 4 km from the event location, the nearest airports are Hamburg (130 km) and Billund (140 km, Denmark). At this point you will receive all the important information about arrival and parking, it´s best to follow #beidiewikingers on our channels.
When you arrive, it is best to come from the A7 motorway and take the Schleswig/Schuby exit (No. 5) and then drive in the direction of Schleswig. At the next traffic light, it goes into the Schuby business park, where our parking spaces are (N 54 31.632 E 009 30.251). From here, shuttle buses run all day to the event site and back again, the fare is included in the admission ticket.
Please do not park in the city of Schleswig! There are hardly any parking spaces there and these are subject to a fee or limited in time. On the day of the event, the city of Schleswig will ensure that the parking rules are observed.
